project 44 is a logistic tech startup with an API network that connects customers to freight carriers for services like rating, dispatch and tracking. I joined in 2017 to build the company’s global logistics tracking portal, which connects users with real time visibility and communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.

The Product

Serving anyone who needs shipment information, the project 44 portal connects users on both the business and transportation sides of logistics. The simple, highly-shareable interface promotes communication across teams and to upstream and downstream business partners.

End-To-End Transportation Visibility

Flexible entities, like these order and container details pages, connect shipments across business and transportation IDs.

Connecting People and Processes

Shareable views and automatic delivery alerts get information and collaboration tools to everyone in the shipment lifecycle.

Providing intelligence and insights

Data Dashboards allow executives to explore their shipment network.

Visualizations like this Location Flow help analysts discover opportunities for supply chain optimization.

The Impact

Before this product went live, project 44’s customers and sales team had no way to interact with the product outside of API dev environments and had to wait for long integration projects before realizing value. Today, customers are able to go live in days and project 44’s data is being consumed by more users, per account. The popularity of the portal continues to attract and retain customers.

The platform is currently valued at $2.7B.
